WIFS Awards

In 2010 there are six prestigious awards celebrating the successes of our members, chapters and friends of WIFS.  An overview of each of the categories are listed below. Recognition of all award winners will be held during the National Conference on Thursday Oct. 21st, 2010 in Boston, MA.

Woman of the Year   
This is the highest level of recognition a WIFS member may receive from her peers.   The WOY award is focused upon recognizing an individual who has given above and beyond, both to WIFS and having an effect on making a difference in the industry.

Leaders Recognition Society (LRS)    
WIFS’ recognition of its members who achieve significant income levels in the insurance
and financial services industry. The LRS is open to all WIFS members and is based on annual production for 2009

ANGEL Awards   
You can nominate both members and non-members of WIFS who have demonstrated attributes that have been instrumental to the success of peers.  These attributes include:
A – Assistance      N – Nurture      G – Guidance      E – Ethics      L – Leadership
There is one ANGEL award recipient each year.     

Rookie of the Year Award   
This award is special recognition of those new to the industry (0-3 years).  

Chapter Achievement Award     
This award is for local WIFS chapters in recognition of an outstanding chapter who demonstrate excellence in membership, programs, education, and leadership. 
The chapter winner receives paid National Conference registration for the following year and special recognition at conference.                                           

New Chapters & Chapter in Formation Scholarships
To inspire and encourage new chapter leadership, three (3) scholarships to cover the cost of a National Conference registration are awarded each year to new chapters and chapters in formation.
