What are the annual dues?
National dues are $175.00 annuallyl. Local dues vary by Chapter. Memberships come up for renewal on the anniversary of the date joined.
What is a membership subsidy?
Some of the WIFS corporate partners offer Membership subsidies. For example, if you are a MassMutual representative, MassMutual subsidizes 50% of the WIFS National membership dues, so you only pay $87.50. For a complete listing of the companies with subsidies, click here.
What are my options if a Chapter does not exist in my area and I am not interested in starting one?
Anyone may join the national organization as a Member at Large.
What is Member at Large?
Approximately 50% of WIFS members are Members-at-Large (MALs), meaning that they live in an area that is not yet served by a local chapter. There are a myriad of programs in which MALs have access to the benefits of their National membership: the national webinar programs, recordings, the member discounts, WIFS newsletter, event discounts including National Conference.

What type of meetings/events could I expect from a Chapter?
Chapters hold monthly events and explore diverse topics of interest, such as practice management tips, estate planning techniques or the latest legislative news from a state commissioner of insurance. Some chapters hold special events during the year and special educational opportunities (Continuing Education credits may also be offered).
